2021 Great Eastern Wine Week

Wine Makers at Furneaux

The 7-course degustation is all about sharing the love of food and wine, stories and bringing people together. Meet the makers behind some of the region’s greatest fare and enjoy pairing their wine and cheese with each course. The French / modern Australian cuisine draws on international influences using fresh locally sourced ingredients, designed to complement the wine and cheese – the perfect wine food. With such passion and love for great food and wine, the trio are dedicated to bringing the region to life by sharing their incredible award-winning produce and connecting through dishes inspired by the region. Spaces for this exquisite dinner are limited and are anticipated to fill quickly. Accommodation packages also available on application.

The Tasmanian tourism industry acknowledges the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a tourism industry that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors Tasmania's deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully. We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
